Clermont Technology Consulting is owned and operated by Alan G. R. Bell, an experienced technologist and
business executive with a 32-year career spanning both technical and management pursuits.

Alan's background includes an active career in research and development, focusing on advanced signal processing, sensor systems, and modeling & simulation.

Alan has published numerous technical articles and holds patents related to detection and location of underground objects.

Alan recently retired as President and Chief Operating Officer of ENSCO Inc., a research & development, engineering, and advanced technology solutions company headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia.

Alan holds an AB degree in Physics from Kenyon College and an MS in Geophysics from The Pennsylvania State University.

Alan is a member of the American Institute of Physics, the American Geophysical Union, the Seismological Society of America and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
